What!?

Ok, so it has been a long while since I have posted anything on here...and I am planning on doing that sometime soon, but WHY can I not get my new header picture to be big like it used to be??? I am confused and it is too late for me to fix it because sleep is much more important so.....until next time, that's all I've got folks.

Half Birthday

We really like to celebrate birthdays at our house...including HALF birthdays!! Well, today was Roe's half birthday so we made some yummy brownies to celebrate the two and a half years of his precious life! We are so thankful for this sweet boy!!
It's official: He is two and a half

It's also official: Drew gives the brownies two thumbs up,...

which Grayson says means, "Double Awesome!"

Roe preferred the candles over the brownie...put them in the brownie, take them out of the brownie, put them in....
Notice the smaller candle to the right...I cut it in half! :-)

If I was more tech savvy, I would post the video of this sweet boy singing Happy Birthday to himself! It is soooo cute!! He even sang it to John on the phone over the weekend when he was telling Daddy about his half birthday coming up! Oh man, have I got this boy on the birthday wagon! He has been waking up for the last few days saying, "it's my half birthday!" to which I kindly reply, "in three (two, one) more day(s)..." hee hee! It has really been a FUN day celebrating with my little boy!

Life at our house...

Okay, so here is my buddy that I mentioned in my last post...my baby boy who is getting bigger all the time. He is so fun! This is how I found him after a nap one day....

Well, he wasn't posing like this, but his animals were all lined up so I had to take his picture! So cute!!

And check out his "boots" a.k.a. slippers!! His Grammy bought him these and he loves them. I do have a picture of him wearing them, but forgot to turn it upright before blogging so I'm not going to post it here. I would say that I will post it later, but who knows!? Ha!!

Blowing bubbles outside....

...for Sidney! I didn't mention Sidney in the last post, but she is also our buddy -or should I say princess!!?- 4 days a week. We have loads of fun with this sweet girl.

She is a crawling all over my house!!

I decided to capture some moments of life after the big boys get home from school the other day so here goes...

Grayson bringing the trash can up from the road...such a big helper!!

Unloading backpacks...which includes a lunch kit and papers from the day....

Drew doing a little homework....

playing with Sidney...

...and watching a little Disney...with motorcycles, of course!!

Then a special treat came along that day....Daddy and Paw Paw decided to take the boys for "Guys Night Out!" They went out to eat, had dessert at Andy's, and then went to Gander Mountain for a little shopping!! The boys have been "hunting" a lot lately and borrowing Daddy's camo hats, so Paw Paw decided to get them their own! Here is how my 3 boys came home....
Check it out!! These boys are ready for deer camp!!

Here is a closer look at their caps.... Drew and Grayson got the same one -"Big Rack Attack"

...and look at Roe's... "Young Buck"... Super cute!!!

All 5 of them had the BEST time, and I enjoyed Guys Night Out as well! I ate a bowl of cereal for dinner (aaahh, can we say easy!!), got some cleaning done, and even sat down and put my feet up for a bit! Love it!! I am thinking GNO should be a weekly event!!

And speaking of the guys...this morning at school was "Donuts with Dad..."
Here they are before school...so excited to have Daddy go to school with them. I can't wait to hear how it went this morning when I pick them up today!!

I have been putting up my fall decorations the last couple of days....the weather isn't so cool yet, but I can feel it coming!!! I didn't take any pics of the decorations but decided that Sidney needed a photo shoot...(I need a fall picture of her to go on my fridge!!!) Here are a few of my favorites!!

And then some playtime with Roe...
He was so proud of himself for putting these pegs in the bag all by himself while I put Sidney to bed!

Stacking the pegs to make a tower...

.
The finished product (with Mommy's help...)

...the best part - knocking it down, of course!

...and again!
